3'-Deoxy-3'-fluorothymidine

3'-Fluoro-3'-deoxythymidine is a potent inhibitor of polymerase γ and reverse transcriptase, and can be used for the treatment of HIV infection. It is also a marker of DNA synthesis and can serve as a biomarker for early response to chemotherapy in pancreatic cancer.
